The Gallery at 400 W Rich is now accepting submissions for Columbus Local, a gallery show of 2 and 3 dimensional artwork, large scale outdoor sculpture and installation art. Any questions please email 400WRich@gmail.com. Thanks and good luck!
Columbus Local will take place on Fri June 1, Sat June 2 and Sun June 3, and serve as an extension of the local arts presence at the 2012 Columbus Arts Festival. 400 W Rich will be an advertised stop on the Arts Festival map, and we anticipate hosting several thousand visitors in our building and gallery over the course of the weekend. All submissions must be received no later than midnight, May 12, 2012. There is no fee to apply, however a 25% commission will be taken off any sold work. All artists who submit work will have at least 1 piece accepted into the show. All artists will be notified which pieces have been selected no later than Saturday, May 19. Dropoff information will be included in the acceptance email. Artists interested in submitting a proposal for a large scale outdoor sculpture or indoor/outdoor installation are asked to include as much detail about your plans as possible. Any images of drawings, sketches, photographs would be helpful as well.
