Small Group Leader - As a Small group leader (SGL) you win, by creating a space that students talk about life, ask & are asked questions and pray & are prayed for. We need you to invest in the lives of a few students to encourage authentic faith in Jesus and deepen their relationships with others.
Tech Team - As a manager of lights, video & Sound, we need you to help us create a large group environment that sets up groups for success. You win when kids experience an inspiring & distraction-free large group environment so the message is more likely to stick.
Prayer Team - We are looking for people who will commit to pray for our students over the next year. We are also looking for people who will pray for specific events.
Communicator
Child Care Help - No, not for our students! We have many people at WOCC that would be great small group leaders, but are not able to serve because of the cost of childcare. Would you be willing to give up some of your time to serve
Hospitality (Food, Check-in & Greeting) - As a part of the Hospitality Team you win, when students are welcomed at the door with a big smile. When students feel welcomed and cared for as soon as they walk through the doors, they’ll be more likely to connect with others in small group.
Creative Media - Have creative gifts and abilities? Photography, Graphic Design, Videography are all things we can use to help share what's happening in student ministry and White Oak. You might utilize your gifts to get information to our students and allow them to pass it on to others. You could help document an event with photos and video. You could also create elements to be used in our programs.
Scheduler - As the SCHEDULER you win, by connecting the student minister to those he leads and works with to multiply ministry. When the student minister can spend more time preparing for, participating in or working on meeting items rather than trying to align schedules you win.
Worship Leader - Willing to lead worship at various youth events, including theGATHERING.
