Faith in Action- this group will provide affirmation, inspiration and support for faith action efforts in our congregation. Class format: guest speakers and hands-on projects. This group will be open to newcomers throughout the year (drop-ins welcome!). Organized by Patti Marsh Cagle Nooma Video Discussion Group- Nooma is a small group series created by Rob Bell relating Christian teaching to everyday life. Class format: video with facilitated discussion. This group will be open to newcomers throughout the year (drop-ins welcome!). Leaders to be announced. PB&J (Parents, Babies, & Jams)-this faith & development class is for parents and their children ages 0-3. We will sing, move and talk about the faith stages of our youngest members. Format: gathering and discussion. This group will be open to newcomers throughout the year (drop-ins welcome!). Held in the Education Wing room 203. Leaders Sherry Landrud & Frances Durkin.
These groups are now closed for fall 2012:

Pathways: Phase 1- provides an overview of Christianity in 12 sessions exploring tenants of Christian faith. This class is intended for those raised in the Church AND those who are newcomers to the faith. Class format: a video with facilitated lively discussion. These groups will form early in the fall and class members will remain together through Christmas. Leaders to be announced. Everything Must Change- this group is a focused study that was born of Brian McLaren's book "Everything Must Change." This group will discuss how McLaren's work might offer a new, hopeful way to see Jesus and his call to change the world we live in today. Format: video & discussion with the option to read along in McLaren's book. This group will form early in the fall and class members will remain together for the 10 week schedule taught by Carole Chalmers.
