  • The Cal Poly Journalism Department Internship is a critical part of each student’s professional preparation. Our department wants to assure that each student receives a thorough and accurate evaluation by the internship employer. The evaluation helps determine the student’s grade. More importantly, the evaluation helps students understand their professional strengths and weaknesses – and prepare accordingly for their entry into the workplace. If a student did well, we are pleased to hear of it. If a student did not perform adequately, we need to know as we continue to refine our internship program. Please complete this form by providing a narrative explaining the assessment.
