• Best of Show at PR Xchange / 2013

  • * Update / April 15, 2013 *

Thank you to everyone who submitted work to this year's competition!

We will be notifying all applicants of their award status during the week of April 22.

The annual Best of Show Awards recognize the very best public relations materials produced by libraries in the past year. This year’s competition will award and recognize original materials produced during the 2012 calendar year. Entries in all categories are judged on content, originality, and design by a team of experts in public relations and marketing who select the winners in each category.

Winning entries will be on display during the PR Xchange program during the ALA Annual Conference in Chicago. Awards will be presented to the winners during a Best of Show ceremony on that day. Award winners need not be present to win, but are encouraged to attend.

The Best of Show Awards are sponsored by the Library Leadership Administration and Management Association's Public Relations and Marketing Section and are overseen by the PR XChange Committee (formerly known as Swap and Shop).

All applications must be completed and print work postmarked by April 1, 2013 .

  • Multiple entries from an individual library are encouraged. However, only one entry may be submitted in each category listed in the drop-down menu below, and a separate form must be completed for each submission.

  • Select the category below that most closely describes the work and format in which the piece was originally distributed (print or electronic). Entries for different formats of the same category are permitted. (For example, a library might submit an orientation poster in the Services and Resources print category, and a promotional Youtube video promoting new overnight hours in the Services and Resources electronic category.) A separate form must be completed for each work submitted.
