Application Deadline: Monday March 3rd, 2025 (by end of school day)
By submitting this application you agree to the release of the information asked for on this application. This information will be used by members of the scholarship committee in order to select recipients. I understand that providing false information on this application will result in a loss of scholarship funds. All recipients will be notified of scholarship awards in late April. The Zimmerman Scholarship Night will take place on Wednesday May 14th 2025 in the Auditorium starting at 6:00PM. The High School Awards Night will follow at about 7:00PM.

I encourage you to read the "ZHS Scholarships Newsletter" attached onto the ZHS Scholarships website. The newsletter shows you the eligibility requirements recipients need for our various Scholarships. It also shows you the number and amount of each Scholarship that we will be offering.

The Heather Rose Scholarship

TO APPLY PLEASE FILL OUT THE "HEATHER ROSE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION" POSTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE ZHS SCHOLARSHIPS WEBSITE. MAIL IT TO THE ADDRESS LISTED ON THE APPLICATION BY THE MARCH 3RD 2025 DEADLINE.
Tricia Sanford Memorial Scholarship: $1,000 Scholarship. To qualify for this Scholarship student must meet one of the following two specific eligibility requirements: 1. Student must have been in AVID for at least 3 years and be going on to receive a Post-secondary education. OR 2. Student must have participated in 2 years or 3 semesters of tech education classes in high school (Industrial Tech, Culinary, ProStart) and be going on to pursue a Tech Ed field/education. LASTLY ATTACH AN ESSAY 3. If you meet the above criteria; you must attach a half-page double spaced Essay highlighting how Avid or your High School Industrial Tech / Culinary Arts classes have influenced your Post High School Goals and Plans.

Jacob VanHoever Good Citizen Memorial Scholarship: 2 Scholarships at $500 each. This Scholarship is open to any Senior who has done volunteer work displaying good citizen characteristics. To apply for this one attach a short essay that focuses on what it means to be a good citizen, a list of your student volunteering activities, and also include three letters of recommendation from non-family members. Applicant must be planning to attend college after graduating high school.

Elk River Lions Scholarship Application: $2,000 Scholarship. To apply, please type and attach a short Essay about how important it is to help others and give back to your Community. List how you have done this in your Community or helped others. You need to be planning to enroll in some type of post-secondary education. Deadline is March 3rd 2025.

Zimmerman Half Court Club Scholarship: 2 Scholarships at $500 each. For 1 $500 Scholarship- Must have been a rostered Player/Manager in the ZHS Girls basketball program for a minimum of 1 season during grades 9-12; a Cumulative High School GPA of 3.0 or higher; Must be enrolling to attend any post-secondary education following graduation. To apply for the Player/Manager Scholarship please attach here up to a 1-page essay on how basketball has impacted your life. For the other $500 Scholarship- This is open to all Seniors and we will automatically review all Seniors who have a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher who Submit this General Application. You don't need to attach an Essay here. Recipient will be selected based on academic achievement and extracurricular/community involvement.

Zimmerman Quarterback Club Scholarship

COACH KISH WILL HANDOUT THE APPLICATION FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP TO SENIORS THAT PARTICIPATED IN FOOTBALL AND MEET THE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.
Zimmerman Boys Basketball Scholarship

COACH CHRISTENSEN WILL HANDOUT THE APPLICATION FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP TO SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYERS THAT MEET THE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.
