Participants will learn the key components of Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF). The SPF is planning model for organizations in developing substance abuse prevention, and HIV prevention strategies. It is a public health approach using a "data driven" approach for achieving prevention outcomes. It is currently being used by state and county governments for funding its recipients.
