Mr. Amos Hinton, Board Member:
Mr. Hinton is a member of the Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma. He is the Director of Agriculture for the Tribe where he oversees the development of tribal agriculture and natural resources. He has worked in agriculture all his life and has extensive experience in all aspects of crop and animal production including horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, goats and chickens.
Mr. Perry Wheeler, Board Member:
Mr. Wheeler is a member and former Deputy Chief of the Cherokee. He served 12 years as Chairman of the Eastern Oklahoma Development Districut and 27 years as Chairman of the Verd-Ark-Ca Development Corp. He is a former Mayor of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He is a retired businessman with extensive experience in rural and business development in cooperation with the local, tribal, state and Federal governments.
Ms. Alicia (Seyler) Nevaquaya, Assistant Secretary:
Ms. Nevaquaya is a member of the Choctaw Nation. She is a rural advocate that specializes in Indian Law with an emphasis on environmental and agriculture policy. As a former Eastern Oklahoma Representative of the Intertribal Agriculture Council she has provided technical assistance to numerous tribal and individual agricultural producers.
