  • Are you interested in volunteering for our rescue organization? Do you have time or love to give to our wonderful homeless animals? We could use your help in some of the following areas: cleaning, transportation, adoption events, donations of funds or supplies, fostering, fundraising, grant writing...

  • Are you a full or part time Florida resident?*
  • Do you understand that cats may be unpredictable and that HEAL cannot guarantee that a rescue cat won’t become aggressive?*
  • Do you have a basic knowledge of cat/kitten behavior?
  • Are you willing to attend a hands-on meeting to learn some tricks of the trade?
  • Are you willing to assume the risks involved in working with cats who are sometimes frightened and who are in unfamiliar surroundings and may become aggressive and/or bite or scratch?*
  • Are you volunteering to receive credit for community/FGCU service hours?*
  • Do you agree to commit to a minimum of 8 hours a month for a minimum of 6 months?*

    By clicking the submit button below, I am requesting a volunteer position with Haven On Earth Animal League. I agree to read and follow the rules and guidelines of the organization. I agree not to hold any director or volunteer personally or otherwise responsible in the event that I sustain personal, financial, emotional, or property loss/damage while serving the organization. I understand that as a volunteer I am an important representative of H.E.A.L. and must do my best to represent the organization in a manner that is consistent with it’s guidelines and philosophies.
