At-Risk Adult Crime Tactics Specialist Certification Training
The ACT training is open to law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, EMS, social services/regulatory agencies, and financial institution employees who respond to the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of at-risk adults (the elderly and persons age 18+ with disabilities). Criminal justice professionals receive priority seating.
This training is not open to the general public.
WARNING! The training contains graphic images and videos of physical abuse.
Each agency is limited to three attendees with the exception of the hosting agency which is allowed up to ten slots.
Both days must be completed to qualify for the 16-hours POST, 13-hours CLE, 16-hours EMS, and 15-hours LCSW CEU credit.
There is no charge for the training; any associated costs are the responsibility of the attendee.
The ACT training is in high demand with very limited seating. We ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend. Class no-shows may be barred from attending future classes.
Providing reasonable and necessary accommodations to attendees with disabilities is an important part of our responsibilities. We try to make sure all ACT training facilities are physically accessible, however, the choice of venue locations are provided and controlled by the hosting agency. If you have a special need such as utilizing a wheelchair or have limited mobility, please let us know, and we will coordinate with the hosting agency concerning accommodations for you.
