TLC Rescue

If we give you a foster that has rescue commitment, typical fostering time is 1-3 weeks. If you decide to take on a foster that doesn't have a commitment yet, then the commitment is open-ended and it could take weeks/months to find a rescue/adopter depending on the health/temperament of the dog and the time of year (summer months are slow for getting placements).

I understand that by submitting this form electronically, I agree to release and covenant to hold harmless TLC Rescue and it's members from any claims, damages, costs, or actions incurred because of the care or actions of the foster dog.

I accept full responsibility for the dog(s) actions at all times, and release TLC Rescue from any liabilities or damages that may be incurred because of fostering such dog(s).

I agree to have TLC Rescue complete reference call checks and conduct a home visit inspection to be able to approve my foster application.

I agree that if I'm unable to foster the dog(s) any more that I will return the dog(s) to TLC Rescue and to give TLC Rescue two-weeks notice to move the dog to another foster.

I understand that any dogs I foster for the duration of my time volunteering with TLC Rescue are the legal property of TLC Rescue and I cannot let them roam free, surrender them to a shelter, or transfer them to another rescue. I also understand that I cannot adopt any of these dogs myself or give them away to anyone without TLC Rescue's approval. Such approval for transfer of ownership will require an adoption or rescue application and all of the screening that goes along with that, plus an adoption fee and signed adoption contract administered by a TLC board member.

Should this foster application be approved, I understand that I must sign a fostering agreement document prior to receiving any foster dogs in my home.
