By A) accepting ANC 1A grant funds and B) agreeing below, grantee agrees to the following:
1) Observe complete compliance with ANC 1A's grant guidelines as detailed at www.anc1a.org/library, while paying strict attention to the list of prohibited uses of ANC 1A grant funds.
2) Prominently display the name and logo of ANC 1A in acknowledgements as a sponsor and on printed promotional materials and signage, on websites and social media as well as in public remarks, if any.
3)Within 60 days of funding grantee must provide ANC 1A Treatsurer with the following information, via email to firstname.lastname@example.org , with a copy to the sponsoring single member district commissioner;
a. Statement of use detailing how funds were used and the public benefit derived from it
b. Receipts totaling the grant amoutn that reflects the intended use of the award
c. Refund (if all funds disbursed by the ANC were not spent)
4) Should Grantee need an extension to file the report, the grantee must subit a request for extension in writing (email is acceptable) prior to the expiration of the 60 days. The Chairman, Treasurer, and/or Commission will review the request and approve or deny the request within 10 days of the receipt of the request. An extension may be granted for up to an additional 30 days.
Please note that failure to comply with information submission requirements set forth in this agreement will automatically, with or without written notice to the grantee, result in: A) ANC 1A losing future allotments to the equal to the amount of the funds disbursed to the grantee organization, B) the grantee will be barred from receiving future grants from ANC 1A for a period of two calendar years beginning the 61st day after the date the grant is awarded (or the 91st day in the event of an extension) C) ANC1A requesting assistance from the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General to receover the awarded funds.
Also note that ANC grant money may not be used for anything that could be construed to provide a personal benefit to individual(s). Items such as t-shirts, prizes, crafts, etc.
