2015 ILSHRM Call For Concurrent

HR practitioners and industry experts are invited to submit proposals for presentation at the Illinois State Council of SHRM’s 16th Annual Illinois HR Conference & Exposition to be held September 13-15, 2015 at Tinley Park Convention Center in Tinley Park, IL. Each concurrent will last approximately one hour. The Illinois State Council of SHRM has a proud tradition of using educational conferences as a platform for innovation in the field of human resource management. This two-day statewide conference provides valuable professional exposure to the HR professionals of Illinois. ISC-SHRM provides concurrent presenters with complimentary registration for the entire conference and pay documented expenses (i.e., mileage or coach airfare and ISC-approved lodging on presentation days). Any additional compensation will be considered on a case by case basis.

The theme for the 2015 ILSHRM Conference is Level Up Your HR Game. Whether you grew up playing Chutes and Ladders at your kitchen table, Mario Bros on your Nintendo or Just Dance on your Wii, gaming has been a way of learning for many years now. At this years conference we want practitioners to think about leveling up their game. How does practice make perfect? How can they be better wherever they are in whatever role? How can they expand their minds using the tools at their fingertips. We expect to have a lot of fun with this and hope you will too. Submissions that fit with this theme will be highly considered. .
