Enrollment Contract
Because we want to provide the best possible experience for every camper, the Clayton Center for the Arts developed policies designed to ensure a safe, productive and friendly camp community. In order to do so, we ask all of our parents and campers to read and agree to the policies outlined on this contract.
1. No camper may use or have possession of any illegal drug while at Clayton Center for the Arts Arts Adventures Unmasked: It's About Time Camp, on camp property, or the Maryville College campus.
2. All medications, including over-the-counter drugs, life sustaining items (inhalers, EpiPens, etc.), and vitamins, must be brought to the attention of the Camp Director with specific instructions as to proper use. Campers and staff may not give any medication to another camper or staff member.
3. No camper may use or have possession of alcohol or tobacco products or paraphernalia. Possession of weapons on campus is also prohibited.
4. Violent action to other people, animals, property, or to yourself is prohibited. You may not physically strike anyone under any circumstance. Campers, staff, and parents agree to respect all members of the community and will refrain from abusive or intimidating language or mistreatment of any kind.
5. Campers are strictly prohibited from engaging in sexual activities or excessive displays of affection.
6. Campers agree to remain on camp property, unless prior arrangements have been made in writing by parents/guardians.
7. Campers agree not to deface or destroy camp property. Parents will be held financially responsible for any damages.
8. Campers agree not to have food or drink outside of approved areas. Campers are expected to bring a lunch daily. Snacks will be provided during camp sessions.
9. Campers must wear close-toed shoes in the buildings and on the grounds.
10. Gum chewing is not permitted at camp.
11. Clayton Center for the Arts Arts Adventures Unmasked: It's About Time Camp, its officers, directors, members, and employees shall not be responsible for camper’s clothing or personal possessions lost or damaged by theft, laundry, fire, malicious mischief, or otherwise. Clayton Center for the Arts Arts Adventures Unmasked Camp specifically advises against bringing jewelry, cash, or valuables to camp.
12. The undersigned understands that part of the training program may include performances and video which is shot in conjunction with the program (collectively "performances"). The undersigned hereby gives permission for the camper to take part in the performances with neither extra fee nor compensation. As further consideration for the enrollment of the camper, the performance, photograph, film, or videotape in which the camper appears for broadcast, publication, advertising, or exhibition is the property of the Clayton Center for the Arts.
