    ASSIST Program Administrator

    General program oversight, submission of required paperwork, ASSIST team staffing, ensuring effective communication among team members

    ASSIST Program Coordinator

    May fulfill multiple roles described in this chart. Should not be responsible for all of the roles.

    Community Networking

    Acts as a liaison to the facilities or agencies participating with ASSIST, maintaining connections within the community helpful in identifying elderly individuals in need of care [including the local church(es)], sharing ASSIST’s impact and mission with community outlets.

    Financial Administration

    Makes sure students hours are reported weekly, submitting monthly invoice, keeping track of the budget.

    Fundraising School/church/community awareness, securing donations for academy’s portion of wages.
    Parent Liaison

    Follows up with parents of the student participants to gain perspective of how the program is impacting their child, connecting with the parents once a semester.

    Senior Mentor Liaison

    Ensures that the older adult’s needs are being met and that the match is effective, connects with the older adult at least once a month.

    Student Supervision Reviews the weekly activity record, supporting the students with resources, being available for students to share concerns and successes, day-to-day troubleshooting. Evaluates program, collects and documents participant feedback as part of the mid and end of the year evaluations.
