Evaluation Criteria
+ Scholarships are are for RHS graduating seniors only.
+ Student exhibits high moral character.
+ Student exhibits leadership qualities.
+ Student has civic and/or community service experience. (clubs, mentor programs, church involvement, work)
+ Student has exemplary attendance and discipline records. (Discipline records reviewed by administration only.)
+ Student is well mannered and respectful of adults and peers.
+ Student exhibits qualities of citizenship.
+ Student has a GPA of at least 2.5.
+ Consideration will be given to students with enrollment longevity.
Submission Checklist
The following components of the application should be prepared and ready to submit at the time you begin the application. Once an application hs been started it must be completed. You cannot save your progress and finsh the submission at a later time. The application should be completed no later than March 30, 2016.

Two Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of recommendation should be completed by teachers, employers, mentors, pastors, etc. All letters of recommendation should be emailed to Becky Fields in the RHS Counselors' Office at bfields@madison-schools.com. Recommendations must be sent no later than March 30, 2016.

One Page Essay
At the end of the electronic application, please upload your essay as a .docx (Word document) or .pdf (PDF file). Choose one of the following topics for your essay:
1. Share an experience in which you had to make a difficult "Do Right" choice.
2. Write about a person who has influenced you to be a "Do Right" individual.
3. Discuss an obstacle you had to overcome in order to "Do Right" in a particular situation.
