New York Yacht Club Guest Request Form Members introducing guests shall be responsible for their conduct to include awareness of Club Policies and House Rules as well as for any debts incurred by them to the Club. Club Guest Policy limits unaccompanied guests to three (3) days in any calendar year. Longer stays may be considered by the House Chair or Flag Officer on prior written request as to the circumstances. A child of a member over the age of 21 is considered a guest and subject to the By-Laws, Club Policies and House Rules concerning guests. Proper tasteful dress is required at all times. At the 44th St. NYC club house gentlemen shall wear jackets and ties and ladies shall dress accordingly for dinner in the Grill or Model Rooms. Tasteful dress-casual attire is permitted at all other times. At Harbour Court, Newport, gentleman shall wear jackets and ties and ladies shall dress accordingly in the Main and Family Dining Rooms. Tasteful casual and sailing attire is permitted on the terraces and Bolero Grill and Bar areas; after 6:00pm gentlemen must wear a collared shirt. Denim clothing is not considered appropriate and therefore not permitted, except when going directly on or off property. Hats or visors are not permitted indoors at either club house. The use of cellular phones, texting devices, computers, tablets, game consoles, or other electronic equipment or toys is not permitted in the public spaces of the Club. They may be used in private rooms or designated areas.
