OUR ADOPTION PROCESS

To begin the adoption process, please fill out an application. The application is non-binding, and you can change your mind at any time. We require veterinarian and personal references as well as a meet and greet involving all family members and any current pets. All animals will be altered and vaccinated prior to adoption. The adoption fee is $100 for most dogs, but it varies for puppies, seniors and designer breeds. The fee range for cats and kittens is $50-75. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) rescue. It may take a day or two to process your application, so please be patient.

We must be sure that you are aware of the financial commitment and responsibilities related to owning a companion animal. Yearly expenses could be more than $500 for food, routine veterinary exams, vaccinations, licensing, heartworm medication (dogs), flea and tick control, and supplies (collars, leashes, cat carrier, beds, toys, etc.), and that amount doesn't include unforeseen medical care provided by your veterinarian or potential visits to an emergency clinic.
