Come join us for this year’s Maryland 4-H Volunteer Forum in Ocean City, MD. The event provides time to meet other 4-H families and learn more about all the wonders of the 4-H program. It is an excellent opportunity for teen and adult volunteers to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to strengthen Maryland 4-H on the club, county, and state levels.
We are excited to have Dr. Jim Cain returning to Maryland for our Volunteer Forum. Jim is author of 14 team and community building books, is a recognized international Teambuilding trainer. He credits many of his skills to his experiences as a 4-H member. He is joined by colleague, Clare-Marie Hannon, international trainer and consultant in leadership and organizational development who also specializes in curriculum design. She has worked closely with 4-H as a faculty member, youth development specialist and camp and center director. They will inspire and motive us as they provide keynote and workshops throughout the weekend.
There are workshop sessions with topics to inspire all of our 4-H Volunteers and Teens! Whether your interest is in Camping / Re-energizing our Volunteers and Teens / Youth Directed Activities / Agsploration and even special sessions all day on Saturday for our Clover/ Junior / Intermediates in our 4-H families who are heading to Ocean City for the weekend of fun, fellowship and learning.
