Lead Consultant
Position Description:
The Lead Consultant will be a key member of the TruNorth team and work directly on client projects including telecom expense reduction, inventory management and ongoing expense management. The candidate will interact directly with clients and vendors.
The ideal candidate will approach work wholeheartedly and be willing to take on tasks both large and small. We require that the candidate have a positive attitude, pay excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable working on multiple tasks within project deadlines.
The position requires competency with data analysis and reporting. Telecom experience is a plus, however for the right candidate we will provide training and education.
Responsibilities:
• Work with project teams to maintain an inventory of voice, data and wireless services
• Work in cloud-based tools to enter, load, and/or track client invoices & inventory
• Work with clients to gather data, invoices, and other information as necessary to track and report on telecom inventory and expenses Work with telecom providers to gather information and solve problems
• Generate and/or create custom client reports
• Assist with non-client projects related to growing and supporting our business
Skills / Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years relevant work experience in accounting, project management, and/or client service
• Knowledge of telecom billing & dispute management is a plus but not a “must” for the right candidate
• Experience with a TEM tool is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is a must
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel is required (use of formulas, tables, graphs, pivot tables, etc. is important)
• Working knowledge of Access is a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices is plus
• Analytical and technical skills necessary to interpret and present data in a clear and concise manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably work with senior management and peers
• Energetic personality that can maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers

• Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new processes

• Bachelors Degree required
