• RIGS Logo Design Contest

  • The Race, Indigeneity, Gender & Sexuality Studies Initiative (RIGS) is looking for a student created logo to serve as the symbol for RIGS at the University of Minnesota. The RIGS initiative is part of a collaborative effort between the RIGS departments and units in the College of Liberal Arts: African American and African Studies, American Studies, American Indian Studies, Asian American Studies, Chicano and Latino Studies, and Gender Women and Sexuality Studies. RIGS would like to see a logo that embodies the hard work and dedication of all those involved in the RIGS Initiative. Be creative and consider the ways in which race, indigeneity, gender, and sexuality influences your life. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, September 30th, 2015. Submissions recorded after the 30th will not be accepted. Please upload your idea as a pdf or jpg file. Entries will be judged by the RIGS Director and Chairs of the RIGS departments. Winner will receive a $75.00 gift card to the U of M Bookstore. Thank you. If you have any questions, please contact Sara Cronquist at cron0158@umn.edu or rigs@umn.edu.
