Note that the BFUU Office must approve the date. Please contact the office by phone at 510-841-4524 to assure that the room, date and time are available.

We agree to:*

Plan APlan BPlan C

Plan A:

SJC assumes primary role/responsibility. No contract with BFUU Office required and no rental fee.SJC gets 100% of the door $ money .

Plan B:

SJC assumes secondary role/responsibility. Contract with BFUU Office is required. You pay a discount half rental rate. Door $ money is split 50/50 after paying Tech/Sound people.

Plan C:

Partner wants full control over event and only an SJC endorsement, which mean that a contract with the office is required at full rental rate, and you can list the BFUU/Social Justice Committee as a nominal sponsor in your list of sponsors. You get the full door $ money after paying the Tech/Sound people.

In all cases, the SJC and BFUU office needs your event information ASAP after this agreement is approved by the SJC.

I agree to send in all of the event information either by using the on-line form at www.bfuu.org/events/social-justice under "How To Partner/Event Info Intake Form: or by filling out a paper of that same form.

We pledge to form a team to do our own publicity effort as well and to form a team to welcome people and make the plan for the evening.

We fully understand the difference between Set Up Time (at least 1 hour before) and Start Time for the Event. We pledge to only use the Start Time in our publicity, and to only use the Set Up Time in communication with our Event Team.

We pledge to have a team on location one hour before the event to set up chairs, tables, and whatever else is needed to prepare the event.

We pledge to present a simple “Plan of the Event” to the Sound/Tech person/team that states what we are doing in what order and what our sound/tech needs for each item are. Note: This can be created at the event during the hour set up time before the actual start time.

We pledge to clean up the premises, especially the kitchen if used, and we will not leave the room until all of the cleaning work is done.
