  • Tails of Hope Dog Rescue Adoption Application

  • Tails of Hope Dog Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3), non-specific breed rescue made up of dedicated dog lovers. We have a network of families and individuals who provide foster care for dogs and puppies until they can be adopted into loving, responsible homes. Our focus is on rescuing dogs from local shelters, at large, or surrendered and giving them as much time as they need to find a forever home. We provide our foster dogs with food, shelter, medical care (including spay/neuter and vaccinations), and the love and attention that they deeply deserve and truly need.

A complete answer to the following questions will enable us to be more familiar with your request and requirements and will help us to find the rescue dog to match your needs and expectations.

PLEASE BE SURE TO ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS FULLY OR THE APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. THANK YOU.

  • Tails of Hope Dog Rescue has a total restraint policy. If you are in a home with a yard, it must have a secure fully attached fence to the home, such as wood or chain link. You must have a door from the home that has direct access to your securely fenced yard. If you have a yard and it does not have a securely attached fence please STOP here: the application will NOT be approved.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT INVISIBLE FENCES.

  • Please provide the following information about your fence:

  • Tails of Hope Dog Rescue requires that all pools have a fence around them and/or have a pool alarm. This is for the safety of the dog. Pools can be fun for the whole family, even for your dogs. What many people don't consider, however, is that pools can also be a potential danger for dogs. Not all dogs are natural swimmers or even good swimmers, and safety precautions must be taken to prevent accidents.

  • To help resolve the problems, are you willing to:

  • Tails of Hope Dog Rescue has a very strict spay/neuter requirement. We will not adopt to a home with unaltered animals. The only exception is if the dog cannot be altered due to medical problems (veterinarian verification is required).
