Before we get started:
Are you the legal owner of this dog?
If you are not the legal owner dog, or acting as representive for the owner, it is best to take the dog to a shelteror contact Animal Control. Someone looking for their lost dog has the best chance of finding them at a local shelter. We are one of the Animal Foundation's Official Rescue Partners and we can pull dogs from the shelter if the family does not claim them and no one else adopts them within a certain number of days. Most labs are adopted out before we have a chance to pull them.

We do not have a facility to hold lost dogs at, nor are we legally allowed take in a stray dog that the owner may be looking for and adopt that dog out to another family. If they go to the Animal Foundation and are posted as available for the required time, then we can legally move forward with adopting the dog out to a new family.

Please let us know if you do take the dog to The Animal Foundation, so we can keep an eye on them and pull them if we get openings. The dog would have to go to the shelter first before we can pull him. Thank you for understanding.
