You are Carbohydrate intolerate!
Your body will respond to the ingestion of excess carbohydrates by increasing insulin production and converting the glucose to triglyceride and storing them as body fat. We recommend the following program:
Phase 1: Consume no more 20 grams of carbohydrates per day. Follow this induction phase for 2 to 4 weeks. (If your energy and weight loss remains go to 4 weeks)
Phase 2: Increase carbohydrate intake to 40 grams per day. Follow until weight goal is reached or until you plateau. (Call your weight management coach if you should plateau for longer than 5 days)
Follow up with your weight management coach in 6 to 8 weeks.
You are Combination intolerate!
Your body will respond to an excess of either calories or carbohydrates. We recommend the following program:
Phase I: Consume no more than 1200 calories per day and no more than 40 grams of carbohydrates. Follow this for 2 to 4 weeks (if your energy and weight loss remain constant, go to 4 weeks)
Phase 2: Increase calories to 1400 calories and carbohydrates to 60 grams per day. Follow ongoing until weight loss goals are reached. If you plateau for more than 5 days, contact your counselor (if you do not have a counselor you may call Be Young Total Health) for an adjustment in your program. Once you approach your weight management goal, we will discuss your ongoing maintenance program.
You are Calorie intolerate!
CALORIE: Your body will respond to excess caloric ingestion by storing those calories as body fat. We recommend the following program:
Diet: Phase I: Consume no more or no less than 1200 calories per day. Follow this phase for 2 to 4 weeks. (If your energy and weight loss remains go to 4 weeks)
Phase 2: Increase your calorie intake to 1400 per day and remain at this level as long as weight loss is continual. If you plateau for longer than 5 days, contact your weight management coach to adjust your program.
Since you are diabetic you will need to follow our diabetic program.
Begin by establishing the average number of carbohydrates you are consuming per day. Reduce this number by 20 grams every 5 days. Once you reach 50 grams total carbohydrates per day maintain at that level. Be sure to test your blood sugar regularly (twice per day) as we will expect it to begin to fall from the diet changes and the supplements recommended. Use the GlucoSmart at 2 capsules three times per day to assist with blood sugar/insulin regulation as well as craving control.
