    Information Submission Requirements
  • By accepting ANC 1A grant funds, and agreeing below, grantee agrees to the following:

    1. Grantee will observe complete compliance with ANC 1A's grant guidelines as detailed at www.anc1a.org/library, while paying strict attention to the list of prohibited uses of ANC 1A grant funds.
    2. Grantee will prominently display the name and logo of ANC 1A on printed promotional materials and signage, on websites and social media as well as in public remarks, if any, to acknowledge the ANC as a sponsor.
    3. Within 60 days of funding, grantee must provide the ANC 1A Treasurer with the following information, via email to 1a05@anc.dc.gov and with a copy to the Sponsoring Commissioner:
      1. A statement of use detailing how funds were used, and the public benefit derived from it,
      2. Receipts totaling the grant amount that reflects the intended use of the award, and
      3. A refund if all funds disbursed by the ANC were not spent
    4. Should Grantee need an extension to file the report, the grantee must submit a request for extension in writing (email is acceptable) prior to the expiration of the 60 days. The Chairperson, Treasurer, and / or full Commission will review the request and approve or deny the request within 10 days of the receipt of the request. An extension of up to 30 days may be granted. 

    Please note that failure to comply with information submission requirements set forth in this agreement will automatically, with or without written notice to the grantee, result in the following:

    1. The grantee will be barred from receiving future grants from ANC 1A for a period of two calendar years, and
    2. ANC1A will request assistance from the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General to recover the awarded funds.
