Thank you for your interest in the MIC Summer JAMMS Program. Please read this introduction in its entirety.
Selection for the Summer JAMMS Program is highly competitive. Please take your time to fill out this application as thoroughly as possible so we can get to know you. All applications will be reviewed by a small panel of Music in Common staff and Board members and final selections will be made by the panel. If you have not yet participated in a Music in Common program, an interview will be conducted either in person or by video call.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as received. As such, we advise applicants to fill out their applications as soon as possible. Once your application has been reviewed you will be contacted by Music in Common executive director Todd Mack with further instructions. If this is your first time participating in a Music in Common program, applications are not considered complete until we have received a letter of recommendation for you from a teacher, community leader, or clergy member and your interview has been conducted. Decisions will be made by the April 15th enrollment deadline.
We are pleased to be able to offer a limited amount of financial aid for those who are unable to afford the full tuition cost of $3,900. However, please be advised that our resources are limited and there is no guarantee that we can provide aid for all who need it. All financial aid recipients will be required to organize a presentation in their communities about their experience in the summer program.
If you have, any questions please EMAIL US. Thank you and good luck.
