  • Ushers and Greeters welcome people with a warm and friendly smile, hand out bulletins, and offer assistance to visitors.  Ushers also gather the offering, and collect empty communion cups.  Requirements:  Anyone who is friendly, warm and with the physical ability to walk and stand.

  • Acolytes light and extinguish the candles as well as offer assistance to the Pastor during the worship service.  They may also double as communion assistants.  Requirements:  Anyone demonstrating the physical ability to walk, stand, and use a candle lighter.

  • Communion Assistants help with the distribution of communion by offering wine or grape juice to communicants.  Requirements:  Baptized and confirmed Christians demonstrating the physical ability to walk while holding a tray of filled communion cups in one hand.

  • Lay Readers read the appointed passages from the Bible for the congregation to hear the Word of God in worship.  Requirements:  Anyone who can read publicly.

  • Audio-Video Team run the computer and sound board located in the balcony.  Requirements:  Anyone with the physical ability to climb the steps into the balcony and having a very basic level of skill or comfort with modern technology.
