DEPOSIT
On multiple sittings projects the deposit will be included in the final tattoo sitting and cannot be used as payment until the final tattoo appointment. Until then the deposit will automatically roll over to your next sitting.

RESCHEDULING
You must notify Sara Fabel 2 weeks in advance for NON quest spot / convention locations to reschedule your appointment or you will forfeit your deposit. There will be no penalty for rescheduling appointment when 2 weeks or more notice has been given (up to 2 sessions dates).
(Rescheduling due medical emergencies is accepted and encouraged with doctors note)
For Guest spot tattooing 1 month cancellation policy applies. Rebooked appointment will be done at location assigned by Fabel. This location in all likelihood will be located in Los Angeles, CA.
Appointment reminder mails or instagram direct message will be send prior to the appointment date. Unanswered confirmation/reminder emails will be considered as cancellation of appointment.

BEING LATE
If you are more than 30 minutes late for your appointment you will forfeit your deposit. On full day sessions this can be extended without penalty by informing Sara via email about late arrival. On shorter sessions extension might not be potential to be applied past 30 minutes as scheduling might affect following clients ability to arrive on time.

CUSTOM VS PORTFOLIO
I understand that changing the idea on the tattoo design after booking and paying the deposit to a different idea will cause you to forfeit the deposit. For custom designs there is more leeway for changes. These changes can be made during the tattoo appointment which is counted as active tattoo time. For all portfolio designs you agree that you are booking an appointment where Sara has artist is freedom to design the tattoo based on generic likes and dislikes. She is not required to use or avoid any items you have listed. You are receiving a discounted rate due to allowing full artistic freedom. With portfolio and predawn design there are no changes made to the design.

RISKS
You are entering this contract aware that you are receiving a permanent body modification. As with all procedures including living tissue, the end result will differ depending on my skin type, location of the tattoo and the aftercare of the tattoo. With every body modification there is always a risk of infection and / or other bodily harm (such as scarring, allergic reaction). You are being provided aftercare information prior to your appointment and are prepared to take appropriate care of your tattoo. You understand that the tattoo shape and color will mature along with natural aging of the skin. Some skins types such as keratosis pilaris and skin conditions such as eczema , dry skin among others do affect overall tattoo results.
In some cases tattoo session will have to be broken in smaller time periods if clients skin is not receiving ink properly. This is to avoid damaging tissue and causing permanent scarring. Unfortunately predicting how skin will react is impossible prior to your session. In these cases extra tattoo appointments might be needed and the quoted tattoo time estimate might be longer.

ALCOHOL, DRUGS, MEDICATIONS, NUMBING CREAMS
Alcohol, large amount of aspirin, viagra or any other blood-thinning medications / consumed substances can and will affect the final result. Practitioner (Sara Fabel) can refuse service without refunding my deposit due to safety risks. You are welcome to take IBUPROFEN on the day of the appointment. Please reach out about blood thinning or skin altering medications prior to the appointment.
DO NOT use numbing creams, liquids, injections, products prior to the tattoo appointments. Sara can not tattoo skin that has numbing cream applied to it BEFORE the appointment. You will loose your deposit if you arrive with skin that has been numbed / wrapped / sunburned.

SUNBURN
Tattoos CAN NOT be applied on sunburn skin. This will cause skin damage and can lead to infection and the ink being rejected. If you arrive to the appointment with a sunburn on the area of the tattoo the placement has to be changed (if possible) or alternatively the appointment date needs to rescheduled and the deposit will be lost.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
For unseen circumstances such as medical issues, government mandates, studio relocation and so forth Sara Fabel reserves the right to move appointments. In this case Fabel is required to offer a new session time. All attempts will be made to accommodate clients with the best possible and soonest working time / location.
