• MCAS Canine Foster Application

  • A foster home is a temporary home for a dog until the Marshall County Animal Shelter finds a permanent home for the dog. If you are interested in providing a permanent home for one of our dogs you should fill out an adoption application instead.

*All fosters are required to be flexible and available to contact as needed and able to return the animal to the shelter at any time for potential adopters. Also, we require home visits before any foster application can be approved. All residents of the home, including pets, must be present at the time of the home visit.

The Marshall County Animal Rescue League/Shelter requires that all potential fosters complete an application to foster. However, this does not guarantee foster of a specific animal. Our main concern is that all of our animals in need of a foster home are placed in homes where they are best suited. The animal that you chose might not be the best possible fit for your family, and if that is the case, we will be happy to work with you to find the right foster dog for you. Please make sure you answer all questions fully and in detail.

    **NOTE**

Please make sure ALL questions are answered completely. We will not consider incomplete applications. The more detailed information you can give us, the better!
