Take A Bite is a popular, family-friendly event in Glens Falls, running from July 6 to August 10 on Wednesday evenings. Restaurants offer “small plates” priced at $1 to $5, while guests stroll through downtown enjoying live entertainment and music.

PERMITS
All restaurants that are not serving food directly from their licensed premises must contact the Department of Health (DOH) regarding a mobile vendor permit application for Take A Bite.
Restaurants whose booths are located in front of their businesses and those that hold a DOH catering permit do not require the mobile vendor permit.
Note that the Glens Falls Collaborative is a not-for-profit organization and the permit fee is waived for Take A Bite participating restaurants.

INSURANCE
All non-food vendors/ information booths (without storefronts downtown) will set up in City Park and must provide a certificate of insurance to participate.
General Liability Insurance Requirements –The Participant shall maintain the following minimum limits of insurance: General Liability - $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate, Products/Completed Operations - $2,000,000.
Event participants must supply a Certificate of Insurance naming the Collaborative and the City of Glens Falls as additional insureds. Addresses for the certificates are:
