  • ABOUT THE SHOT LIST

    Having a shot list for your wedding photography ensures you and your family receive the images you’re dreaming of for your big day. It’s very important to work out ahead of time which combinations of family members you would like to see in your formals. We will have very limited time during the wedding to take all the images you’d like, so planning things out ahead of time is essential for success. The following Shot List is a general compilation of our experience photographing weddings and the traditional images Brides and Grooms can expect from their photographer. Please review this list and add your own ideas so we can make sure to plan time for them. We’re always happy to accommodate special requests! Remember, these will be based on time available for amount of hours purchased.

  • We will create a Family Shot List based on a building block principal. How this will work (for better success and efficiency of time): we will add in family members to each photo then subtract i.e.-

    Bride and Groom;

    then Bride and Groom and Bride's parents;

    then Bride and Groom, Bride's parents, Bride's siblings;

    then Bride and Groom, Bride's parents, Bride's siblings, and Bride's grandparents;

    then Bride and Groom and Bride's whole family;

    then Bride and Groom and both families (if requested);

    then Bride and Groom, Groom's family (no longer any more with Brides whole family);

    Bride and Groom, Groom's parents, Groom's siblings, Groom's grandparents;

    then Bride and Groom, Groom's parents, and Groom's siblings;

    then Bride and Groom, Groom's parents;

    then Bride and Groom, Bride and Groom's parents;

    then Bride and Groom, Bride and Groom's parents, Bride and Groom's Siblings;

    etc.
