Volunteering at Hope Academy
Please explain why you would like to volunteer at Hope Academy.
We are a culturally diverse school. Please describe any experience/training you have working with other cultures.
Punctuality

One way to be a supportive volunteer at Hope Academy is to show up at the agreed upon time (or even a few minutes early!). It can add challenges to the plates of our staff if a volunteer is running late or does not show up. Of course, things come up that are out of anyone's control, and there is grace for that!
I will do my best to arrive timely for my volunteer commitments.
Flexibility

In a school setting, there are always moving parts. On any given day, there are unexpected sick teachers, student absences, last minute changes to classroom schedules, not to mention the ups and downs of COVID. As a volunteer at Hope Academy, we ask that you are flexible and willing to help where needed as we adapt to given circumstances.
I will do my best to be flexible and patient during my volunteer time.

I understand that if I have misrepresented the information and/or fail to adhere to program guidelines, I may have my application approval withdrawn.
