Job title: Program Office Clerk/Pro Shop Attendant
Department: Pro Shop
Reports to: Gen. Manager/Shop Managers
Summary: Gives out information, directions, schedules for ice activities, totals bills, accepts payment, and makes change for customers. The mission is to give excellent customer service, and a memorable experience when visiting the San Diego Ice Arena.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assingned.
-Greets, charge and checks in skaters upon arrival. -Answers customer’s questions concerning location, price.
-Distributes and receives skates when not actively cashiering and between sessions.
-Enrolls customers, to all ice arenas programs.
-Keeps all working and traffic areas clean at all times.
-Removes and records amount of cash in register at end of shift.
-Answers the telephone in a timely fashion, forwards all inquiries as appropriate.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of mesure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commun sense understanding to carry out detailed duties uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of point of sale and reservations functions of the current software (Frontline). MS Dos, Word, Excel. & a Mouse.
Other Skills and Abilities: The ability to repair and sharpen skates if called upon.
