Committees:
Administrative / IT Help keep us connected and organized. Put your administrative and/or database management skills to use taking part in internal document sharing, calendar organizing, database management, scheduling and the like.
Enrichment Program Committee We've developed curriculum with a service-learning focus, to help foster discussion with children and families about community and stewardship, including what it means to stand up for something and how to be a "doer." We are seeking committee members to help execute workshops from provided lesson plans for children ages 3-7 or 8-11. Educator experience highly desired.
Fundraising Committee will actively work on raising funds to sustain and grow our organization. Experience grant writing or securing sponsorships highly desired.
Marketing/PR Committee will be responsible for the promotion of SPUR activities, including but not limited to: press releases, monthly newsletter and maintaining/growing our social media presence.
Special Drives Committee will help with the management of logistics and execution of our annual SPUR Student Success Back-to-School drive in August/September and our Holiday Cheer Drive in November/December.
Summer Fling Committee will assist with the planning and execution of our annual summer fling celebration which takes place annually in July.
Volunteer Events Committee will help plan, brainstorm new ideas and execute our volunteer offerings - both larger scale Day of Service - as well as smaller efforts coordinated throughout Marblehead, Salem and Swampscott.
