Terms of Eligibility to purchase solar bonds
- I acknowledge that I have received the Member Bond Disclosure Packet
- I understand buying a Bond is inherently risky, as described in the Bond Disclosure Packet
- I understand that this Bond is unsecured
- I am a bona fide resident of the State of Wisconsin
- I am an Equity Member of the Legacy Solar Co-op (Become a Member)
- I will notify the Co-op of any changes to my contact information (and address)
- I understand that repayment of Face Value and Interest will be made within 30 days of the Date of Maturity, unless I choose to renew for a Legacy Bond under the terms listed in this packet and on the Bond certificate
- I understand that the Co-op may “call” the Bonds back and repay Bondholders before the Date of Maturity, and in that case, that the Bondholder will be paid interest prorated for that partial year along with the Face Value
- I also understand that interest will be taxable each and every year until the Date of Maturity, and that I will receive a 1099 Interest Income statement for each full tax year in which I earn and receive payment of $10.00 or more
