I hereby certify that I have not knowingly withheld any information that might adversely affect my chances for employment and that the answers given by me are true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I further certify that I, the undersigned applicant, have personally completed this application. I understand that any omission or misstatement of material fact on this application or on any document used to secure employment shall be grounds for rejection of this application or for immediate discharge if I am employed regardless of the time elapsed before discovery.
I understand that to be employed I must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States and I must show the employer documents that will prove this.
I understand that Mar-Lu-Ridge (MLR) will thoroughly investigate my work and personal history and verify all data given on the application, on related papers, and in interviews. I authorize all individuals, schools, and firms named therein, except my current employer if so noted, to provide any information requested about me, and I release them from all liability for damage in providing this information.
This application will remain active for a period of one year. If, at the end of one year, I am still interested in employment and have not been contacted, I should return and complete a new application.
I understand that nothing contained in the application or conveyed during any interview, which may be granted, is intended to create an employment contract between Mar-Lu-Ridge and myself. In addition, I understand and agree that if I am employed, my employment is for no definite or determinable period and may be terminated at any time, with or without prior notice, at the option of either Mar-Lu-Ridge or myself, and that no promises or representations contrary to the foregoing agreement binding on MLR unless made in writing and signed by me and the MLR’s Summer Camp Director.
As a Staff member, Mar-Lu-Ridge will provide pay, housing, meals, laundry privileges, workman’s compensation, payment of required background checks, full pay during staff training (if present), use of recreational facilities, and store discounts on clothing items. No compensation will be awarded until all pre-camp information (i.e. physical form, fingerprints, etc.) is received.
