For a successful Bed Bug Heat Treatment our service technicians need your full cooperation.
This list is an example; any additional instructions from pest control should be followed. The house should be cleaned first. All trash should be picked up off floor. Including all laundry.
(Kitchen and food pantries are not included. We do not spray for bedbugs in food areas)
BATHROOMS
Remove items from under the sink and put them in a tub or container.
Remove all towels from closets in the bathrooms.
BEDROOMS
Put all dirty clothes that are in the laundry basket into trash bags. Make sure trash bags can be closed with the top tied in a knot (To make sure the bedbugs cannot get out and into your car while transporting the clothes to the laundromat to be dried ONLY for 30-40 minutes on high heat)
Put all Covers, Sheets, and Pillowcases into trash bags. Make sure trash bags can be closed with the top tied in a knot (To make sure the bedbugs cannot get out and into your car while transporting the clothes to the laundromat to be dried ONLY for 30-40 minutes on high heat)
Remove all items under the beds so we can spray as much for the area under the bed as possible. They may be put back as soon as we have sprayed. (Do not put any items in the garage! Doing so can cause more problems as bedbugs are very hard to remove from the garage)
Remove as many items from the floor of the “Closets” so we can spray as much of the area as possible. (Do not put any items in the garage! Doing so can cause more problems as bedbugs are very hard to remove from the garage)
Once service is finished the rooms need to be vacant for at least 2 hours and the beds will take about 6-8 hours to dry. Then it will be safe to remake the beds with sheets etc.
