Work at the College of Business Summer Business Institute this summer as a member of our highly motivated camp team! Counselors are responsible for all aspects of camp operations, including, but not limited to: safety, instruction, supervision, camp setup and breakdown, athletics, promotions, and special events. We have a high standard and reputation to live up to and we are seeking hardworking, qualified individuals to join our family and continue to provide a fun, educational, and safe camp environment. The Summer Business Institute is a co-op between the SUBR College of Business and the Southern University Laboratory School.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate must:

· Be enrolled at SUBR for the Summer ’19 term

· Be enrolled as a full-time UNDERGRADUATE student

· Be eligible for financial aid

· Possess experience working with children ages 8-17

· Have skills in at least one of the following areas:

o elementary/secondary education,

o swimming

o singing

o music

o arts/crafts

o foreign language and

o sports

· Be available to work June 3, 2019 through June 21, 2019

· Exhibit dependability, punctuality, patience, teamwork, self‐control and enthusiasm

· Possess good leadership abilities

· Demonstrate appropriate behavior at all times

· Be able to work with minimal supervision

· Bilingual skills are highly desirable

Employment Information:

• Start Date: Monday, June 3

• End Date: Friday, June 21

• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:30 am ‐ 5:30 pm
