Spring Branch AFT COPE collects voluntary contributions from members to help support state and local candidates who support public education and public education employees. Spring Branch AFT COPE may engage in joint efforts with the Texas AFT, AFT and AFL-CIO. A voluntary COPE authorization may be revoked at any time by notifying Spring Branch AFT. Making a contribution is not a condition of membership, and members have the right to refuse to contribute without loss of membership status, rights or benefits.
