To qualify and remain a GSS Authorized Dealer, your business must adhere to this GSS Authorized Dealer Policy at all times.
1. Maintain Current Business Information & Disclose All Locations That Carry GSS
Maintain accurate and up to date company information and disclose all retail locations that carry GSS throughout the term of your dealer relationship with GSS. Qualifying retail locations can be any of the following: physical brick & mortar store(s), commerce enabled website(s) or temporary storefronts (events, trade shows, pop up stores, etc.).
2. GSS's Minimum Advertised Price Policy
Dealer must understand their obligations under GSS’s MAP Policy and abide by them. See attachment
3. Sell to Retail Consumers Only
Dealer may not sell in bulk to B2B accounts, wholesalers, or freight forwarders/drop shippers for other retailers. Reseller may sell to end consumers only.
4. Only Purchase GSS Products Directly From Assigned & Authorized Distributor
Dealer must not buy GSS products from other retailers or from other sources not explicitly endorsed by GSS.
5. Only Sell GSS Products in Original Packaging
Dealer may not alter original GSS packaging in any way prior to reselling GSS products. Removing GSS products from packaging and reselling GSS products in a different packaging or under a different name is strictly prohibited.
6. Use only GSS Supplied Product Descriptions in Listings
Dealer must be able to use standard set of GSS supplied descriptions in product listings, unless prior written permission is obtained from GSS.
7. No Bundling GSS Products Without Obtaining Permission
Dealer must not reSKU or bundle GSS products online assortments & data feeds without receiving prior written permission from GSS.
8. Customer Confusion
Dealer will not advertise, market, display, or demonstrate non-GSS
products together with GSS products in a manner that would create the impression that the non-GSS products are made by, endorsed by or associated with GSS.
9. Sell on Approved Retail Website(s) Only
Dealer must only take orders via publicly accessible ecommerce enabled web pages hosted on approved websites owned and operated by dealers company.
Selling on 3rd party sites (eBay, Amazon, Alibaba, etc.), dropship
accounts (Buy.com, Newegg.com, Overstock.com, etc.), classified sites (Craigslist.com, Facebook Marketplace, etc.) or direct messages on forums is strictly prohibited.
10. Ensure PCI Compliance
Dealer must ensure PCI compliance for all approved commerce enabled websites owned & operated by your company.
11. Maintain Updated Privacy Policy
Dealer must publish and maintain a publicly accessible privacy policy.
12. Security Measures from ECommerce Sites and Fraud Protection
Dealer must ensure industry standard ecommerce security and fraud protection measures are in place.
Failure to comply with all of the terms in GSS’s Authorized Dealer Policy will result in suspension or termination of your account.
