A. Session Fees
Client agrees to pay Tahnee Blauser Photography a retainer at the time of booking to secure their appointment date and time. This is a non-refundable retainer fee that pays your session fee. The session fee covers the time and talent of photographer, basic retouching and creative editing of images, as determined by the photographer. Additional editing is available at an additional expense to be determined by photographer. This fee does not include any products such as albums, prints, digital files, etc.
B. Location Costs & Fees
If there are any costs/fees associated with the location the client has chosen for their session, you, the client, will be responsible for those fees. Tahnee Blauser Photography will not guarantee or arrange payment on any location. Creative fee covers travel within 30 miles of Springfield, VA. Any location outside of these limits will be subject to an additional charge of $.50/mile as part of the agreement.
We understand that emergencies and last second illnesses occur. If you need to reschedule, please contact us immediately. Your retainer can be applied to a new session date. If the session is rescheduled more than twice, the retainer is forfeited. Tahnee Blauser Photography reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, weather, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond their control.
Tahnee Blauser Photography is not held responsible for the behavior of parties involved with the session. Refunds will not be given for poor choices of clothing, make-up, hair, or weather related issues, or by not following the recommendations of the photographer. Sessions will begin at the scheduled start time, even if the client is tardy or unprepared. The session end time will remain the same.
After twelve (12) months, all images will be purged from our hard-drive, except as needed for promotional purposes, to be determined by photographer at photographer’s sole discretion. Tahnee Blauser Photography is not responsible for loss or damage to the digital files due to circumstances beyond our control.
All payments are due in full unless payment arrangements have been made in advance. Orders will not be processed until payment in full is received. Tahnee Blauser Photography accepts cash, credit, checks, and PayPal. There is a $25 fee for any returned check.
Tahnee Blauser Photography is not responsible for the damage of portraits after delivery to client, including damage caused during transit by US mail. Client assumes all responsibility for the safety of all portraits upon receipt.
The client waives, releases, forgives, discharges, and relinquishes any and all claims that arise against Tahnee Blauser Photography, which are connected with, arise out of, relate to, or are incidental to any transaction. In the unlikely event that the photographer is injured or becomes too ill to photograph the session, we will make every effort to secure a photographer unless otherwise specified by the client. If a suitable replacement is not found, a reshoot will be rescheduled for the next available time slot. In the unlikely event that the images have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond our control, the studio liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the portrait session.
