      CLUB CHARTER

      I

      Overview:

We are the Strongbacks Long Distance Riding Club. We are a group of motorcycle enthusiasts devoted

to the betterment of the men, women and children of our community. We embrace progressive ideology

pursuant with Socratic ethics as defined in the following Code of Conduct. All riding members of the

Strongbacks Long Distance Rides are responsible for upholding this Code of Conduct as well as holding

our fellow riders to the same standard.

      II

      Good Samaritans:

Members of the Strongbacks LDRC are kind, mindful and giving. Strongbacks embrace the opportunity

to give back in both grand and trivial gestures of selflessness. When the public recognizes our patch, it is

synonymous with hope. This is possible only as it is demonstrated by our actions.

      III

      Mentors:

Members of the Strongbacks LDRC seek opportunities to encourage those who are junior to us to

embrace new knowledge. We are also eager to embrace new ideas from those who are junior to us.

Together we guide each other to a future of productivity and prosperity.

      IV

      Fundraising Commitments:

The Strongbacks LDRC is a charity organization. We raise funds so that we may award scholarship

support to young people of single parent households who seek formal training in the trades. The

Strongbacks LDRC hosts multiple charity rides in which members are expected to participate. There are

three different types of rides: Day Rides, Weekend Rides, and “Long Hauls”. A day ride will not exceed 8

hours round-trip and are scheduled to occur every other month. Weekend Rides will vary in ride time and

typically result in camping over-night; Weekend Rides will occur three times per season. Long Hauls can

last up to seven days and occur once per year. Fund raising goals vary on ride distance, volume and

frequency. Any member participating in a fundraising goal is expected to meet their fundraising

      commitment barring extenuating circumstances.

      VI

      Committees:

Members are encouraged to participate in committees in 12 month terms. Committees include three

planning committees, one relationship committee, one perks committee.

      VII

fundraising rides. Each fundraising ride type will have its own planning committee.

      VIII

In tandem with the co-founders, the relationship committee will help foster and develop relationships with

local charities to whom our members will devote their personal time as volunteers.
