Good Samaritans:
Members of the Strongbacks LDRC are kind, mindful and giving. Strongbacks embrace the opportunity
to give back in both grand and trivial gestures of selflessness. When the public recognizes our patch, it is
synonymous with hope. This is possible only as it is demonstrated by our actions.
III
Mentors:
Members of the Strongbacks LDRC seek opportunities to encourage those who are junior to us to
embrace new knowledge. We are also eager to embrace new ideas from those who are junior to us.
Together we guide each other to a future of productivity and prosperity.

three different types of rides: Day Rides, Weekend Rides, and “Long Hauls”. A day ride will not exceed 8
hours round-trip and are scheduled to occur every other month. Weekend Rides will vary in ride time and
typically result in camping over-night; Weekend Rides will occur three times per season. Long Hauls can
last up to seven days and occur once per year. Fund raising goals vary on ride distance, volume and
frequency. Any member participating in a fundraising goal is expected to meet their fundraising
commitment barring extenuating circumstances.

Members are encouraged to participate in committees in 12 month terms. Committees include three
planning committees, one relationship committee, one perks committee.

local charities to whom our members will devote their personal time as volunteers.
