    Welcome to the CDOT project team! This is your living project-onboarding checklist for all CDOT projects. Please use it throughout the course of the project to inform CDOT Communications of the status of required project tasks, which in turn makes it easier for us to assist you.

  • 1. Contact Information & Project Type

  • Phase 1: Pre-Project Planning Phase

    For project in pre-planning, environment or study phase only.
    • Please fill this section out if you are in the environmental assessment phase, study phase or the pre-construction/planning phase of your project.

    • If your project is in the construction phase, please NEXT to Phase 2: Project Construction Phase.

    If you are submitting a form for a project in the Environmental/Study/Design Phase, click Submit and stop here.  A member of the Communications Team will contact you with further instructions.

  • Phase 2: Project/Construction Phase

    Please fill this out if you are PIM or project manager/contractor of an active construction project with CDOT.

  • 2. Contact Information for Construction Phase Project

    This form provides information needed for the Dialog account (project database), LaneAware (for traffic impact reporting), and for some elements of the project webpage.

    Listed below are various trainings and resources on how to use the Dialog system to manage customer service requests (cases) and project webpage updates for your project and how to use Lane Aware to enter weekly traffic impacts for your project.  Check off the trainings listed below as they are completed.

  • 2-G: Complete/Close Out Your Project

  • When your project is complete, please complete the Project Off-Boarding Form (click link) to deactivate the Dialog and LaneAware Accounts and to archive your webpage. You may close your project, but leave the webpage open past the closing date. This option is available on the form.

    Project Document Archives:  All documents related to the project should either be uploaded to the webpage Assets folder, or a pdf/word version of each document should be sent to that region's Communications Manager with a request that they be filed with the other project documents. NOTE: All construction project-related documents are considered permanent records.

  • Should be Empty:
