Building Use Application

Please fill out the following application to request use of First Presbyterian Church's facilities.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Filling out this form does NOT guarantee a reservation. Reservations depend on building and personnel availability on the dates / times and for the requested services.

Requests may take up to 2 weeks to be approved. If you have not heard back from a submitted request after 14 days, please reach out to info@fpcelizabethton.org for more information.

COSTS:

Costs for building use will vary depending on the individual or group's relationship to FPC Elizabethton and what services and spaces are requested.

* Refundable cleaning deposit (Will be refunded after the completion of the event if all spaces are left clean) - $200

* Rental fees range from $100 to $250 for use by individuals or groups not affiliated with FPC Elizabethton. Rental fees may be discounted or waived for members, regular attendees, and community groups requesting space for services open to and benefitting the Elizabethton / Carter County community.

* AV equipment use is subject to availability of an FPCe approved AV technician and typically includes $150 for up to 4 hours, plus $35 for each additional hour.

* For FPCe committees and groups, no cleaning or building rental fees are assessed, but committee budgets may be used to help offset the costs of AV personnel if needed.

Terms & Conditions of Building Use:

Whereas, FPCe is the owner of facilities at the above address;

And whereas, the Applicant desires to use facilities on the terms and conditions set herein;

Now Therefore, in consideration of the mutual promises herein and other valuable consideration, the parties hereto agree as follows:

1. FPCe will make available to the User the facilities agreed to by the FPCe Session or designee.

2. User agrees to indemnify and hold FPCe harmless from any and all liability, including attorney fees, arising out of User’s use of facilities.

3. User understands that User is responsible for obtaining any liability and/or property insurance and that FPCe has no duty to insure User’s use of facilities.

4. User agrees to abide by all duly authorized laws, ordinances, rules and regulations; and FPCe policy, including the attached FPCe building guidelines and affirms receipt of same.

5. If any of User’s activities herein will place children in the care of persons other than their own parent/guardian, User will have procedures to prevent child abuse, neglect and injury.
