All safety observations should be entered into Gensuite using the Inspection Tool app and “Inspect Now” function to complete the “DGS Safety Observations - Arrival” and “DGS Safety Observations - Departure” checklists

Are all employees wearing proper PPE that is in good condition (not faded, excessively worn, etc.)? ** Vests must be closed in front, safety shoes worn.

Is Leadership holding a safety huddle prior to aircraft arrival to engage all team members and assign responsibilities?

Is the stop mark "T" identified to ensure proper aircraft alignment in the safety zone?

Is the safety zone clear of all equipment (Jet bridge, fuel cart, belt loaders, cones, chocks, etc) prior to arrival?

Is the ramp clear of all FOD?

Are wing walkers in proper position and visible to the marshalling agent?

Are wing walkers using clear and correct hand signals?

Are lighted wands being used when applicable?

Is the marshalling agent using clear and correct hand signals when signaling the flight crew for approach and stop?

Is the marshalling agent using clear & correct "chocks in" signal only after nose and main gear were chocked?* *For MD88/90 and B717 aircraft, both main gear must be chocked prior to giving the "chocks in" signal. *The front of the MD88/90 and 717 tire must be chocked

Is a cone placed on the RJ main cabin door stairs as a guide for proper jet bridge placement (per AC type)?

Is a monitor used to help ensure safe approach of jet bridge to aircraft?

Is the marshalling agent chocking the nose gear on mainline AC immediately after clearing the jet bridge operator for approach?* *For RJ aircraft, chocks must be placed prior to signaling the jet bridge operator it is safe to approach.

Are the wing walkers placing chocks on each gear ensuring they were parallel to the axle, lightly touching the center of tire?

Are the wing walkers placing 2 sets of hurdle cones outside each wing tip to ensure proper wing protection?

Is the marshalling agent completing the aircraft walk-around within 5 min of arrival, beginning on the FO side?

Is the marshalling agent connecting the GPU cord safely (didn't swing/throw the cord underneath the fuselage)? *The GPU cable must be completely disconnected from the hoist prior to connecting it to the aircraft

Is the tail cone placed before vehicles entered the gate area?

Is the tail stand properly installed (by the marshalling agent or wing walker, as applicable per AC type and carrier requirements)?

Is a guide person being used to guide the belt loader(s) to the AC and place the chocks before the driver releases the brakes?

Are all vehicle operators and passengers wearing seatbelts?

Is the belt loader driver stopping at the wing tip and then driving to the aircraft at no greater than walking speed?

Is a 36" cone placed approximately 3' behind the aft bumper of each belt loader prior to the bag tug approaching it?

Is the belt loader handrail used to go in and out of the aircraft bin (as required by AC type--no RJ)?

Are belt loaders decks raised or lowered only while the belt loader was stopped & the belt deck was outside of the bin?

Are all cargo doors opened to ensure all items were offloaded and all cargo bins are empty (all webbing down for bin check)?

Is the "no drive zone" (no driving within 5 feet of aircraft) strictly followed?

Are all employees wearing proper PPE that is in good condition (not faded, excessively worn, etc.)? Vests must be closed in front, safety shoes worn.

Is Leadership holding a safety huddle prior to aircraft push back to engage all team members and assign responsibilities? *The huddle card must be used and visible to the observer.

Are all vehicle operators and passengers wearing seatbelts?

Are cargo nets/webbing restrained inside bins properly with all protection latched and secured?

Are doors and service panels verified closed?

Is the tow bar inspected and properly connected (tow bar must be physically moved/shaken to verify)?

Is the aircraft steering system bypassed, if applicable?

Is the push back driver personally verify steering bypass and all connections between tug & AC before sitting in the tug?

Is the valet cart verified empty and properly stowed?

Is the GPU cord safely removed/stored and not swung under aircraft fuselage?

Is a monitor used to help the operator properly stow the jet bridge in the stow box?

Are the jet bridge and fuel cart properly stowed (jet bridge outside the safety zone?

Is a guide person being used to remove belt loader rear chock? Is the driver holding the brakes and then the guide person removing the front chock only after the driver has been guided away from the AC?

Is the safety zone clear of all equipment (GSE, belt loaders, etc) prior to final walk -around?

Is the ramp clear of all FOD?

Is the final walk around completed by two agents?

Is a double verification completed to ensure all panels are closed?

Is the tail stand removed following carrier process?

Is the head set tested prior to departure? If inop, was a face-to-face meeting held with the flight crew?

Are chocks on the main gear and cones at the wings removed and placed outside the safety zone?

Are wing walkers in proper position and visible to the marshalling agent?

Are the wing walkers and marshalling agent use clear and proper hand signals?

Are the wing walkers and marshalling agent use lighted wands when applicable?

Are the Dispatch Team performing a proper tow bar disconnect following carrier process?

Is the captain given the proper clearance signal after all equipment and personnel were clear of the aircraft?

Conduct a post flight debrief with the observed team members.

Perform a POI review on two pieces of GSE to ensure proper documentation

Verify WDR is completed accurately
