Thank you for your interest in participating as a vendor at Free Market Square. By submitting your application and vendor fee you agree to the following guidelines:
PARTICIPATION AND VENDOR FEE
Free Market Square is a temporary 8-day market. Vendor space is open to all vendor types however the organizer has the right to deny access and participation to any vendor that is deemed inappropriate for a family environment. The vendor fee and days of operation are listed within the application and each vendor must select their days of participation upon application submission. Vendors will receive confirmation of participation and link for fee payment within 2 days of submitting the application. All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE unless the event is canceled by the organizer due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
By participating in the market, the vendor agrees to be present at their vendor booth for the entire duration of operation hours. The organizer will have attendants on the premises to provide any needed assistance to ensure that there is no need to leave booths unattended. The organizer can not be held responsible for any damage or theft of property. Please ensure that proper procedures are in place for the protection of your goods.
FOOD VENDORS
Food vendors are open to taking part any market day but we strongly encourage Friday market dates from 4:00pm-8:00pm. We have chosen these days to highlight food vendors and live entertainment.
If you are interested in participating as a food vendor you are required to have a temporary food permit for your selected market dates. Proof of permit most be provided to event organizers before vendor set-up. Food vendors are responsible for having water on site as required per the temporary food permit. VENDOR REQUIREMENTS
Free Market Square is an outdoor market and we strongly suggest that each vendor is equipped with a 10x10 tent. The organizer has a limited number of tents available for use on a first come first serve basis. Please indicate within the application if you are in need of a tent and you will be notified by the organizer if one is available for use.
VENDOR SETUP/BREAKDOWN
Each vendor will be allotted a 10x10 space. Vendors will have 2 hours before the event for set-up and an hour after the event for breakdown and clean-up. Vendors must be set-up and ready for business no less than 15 minutes before the event and close down no more than 15 minutes after the event ends. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure that their area is clear of all debris before leaving the premises.
Loading site and parking information will be provided before the event.
