Booth space assignments will be emailed in early October.
Conditions for Participation:
- The Craft Fair will take place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the Stonegate Elementary School campus. Gates open at 3:00 PM for vendors to set up.
Registration deadline: September 30th. For registration information, please call 530-867-3797.
- Not all applications will be successful, as we need to have a good mix and quality of arts and crafts. Stonegate PTO reserves the right to refuse applications without having to justify its decision.
- Payment must be submitted with registration form to Stonegate Elementary School office or emailed to stonegatepto@aol.com. Checks, money orders and cash are gladly accepted. Please make checks payable to the Stonegate PTO. Cash payments need to be made in person. Please do not send cash in the mail.
- All vendors must be selling a tangible good. There will be a limited number of booth spaces available for retail vendors.
- Retail vendors who have a student attending Stonegate Elementary School will be given priority over ones who do not.
- Individuals are solely responsible for their possessions and wares and for reporting their earnings both to state and to federal agencies.
- Vendors are responsible for the preparation and cleanup of their area, including the removal of all materials from the premises at the conclusion of the event.
- Set up: Friday, October 14th, from 3:00-4:00 PM. You must occupy your assigned area by 3:45 PM or forfeit your space. After unloading, vendors must move their vehicles to the designated parking lot to ensure parking is available for attendees.
- Clean up begins at 7 PM. For the benefit of people attending, everyone MUST remain open until 7 PM. This time will be strictly enforced.
- No pets please.
- NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR CANCELLATIONS.
The Stonegate PTO, Stonegate Elementary School, and Washington Unified School District assume no liability for loss. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the vendors, their successors, assignees and guarantors shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Stonegate PTO, Stonegate Elementary School, Washington Unified School District, its agents, representatives, officers, directors, officials and employees from and against all allegations, demands, proceedings, suits, actions, claims, damages, losses, expenses, including but not limited to, attorney fees, court costs, and the cost of appellate proceedings, and all claim adjusting and handling expense, related to, arising from or out of, or resulting from any negligent or willful actions, acts, errors, mistakes or omissions caused in whole or part by commercial/crafter performing services under this Agreement. The above defense, indemnity and hold harmless obligations do not apply to claims resulting from the sole negligence of anyone stated above.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
In consideration for receiving permission to participate in the 2018 Stonegate Harvest Festival Craft Fair, the vendor hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue its agents, volunteers, or officers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising from or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that maybe sustained by the vendor, or any of the property belonging to the vendor whether caused by the negligence of the vendor, or otherwise, while participating in such activity, or while in, on or upon the premises where the activity is being conducted.
I further hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Stonegate PTO, Stonegate Elementary School, and Washington Unified School District, its agents, volunteers and officers from any loss, liability, damage or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to my participation in said activity, whether caused by negligence of vendor or otherwise. I understand that the Stonegate Elementary PTO, Stonegate Elementary School, and Washington Unified School District do not provide any insurance coverage for vendor participants for any circumstances arising from their participation in this event or any activity associated with or facilitating that participation. As such, I understand that I should review my own insurance portfolio.
