POMONA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
• Active full-day participation in the two-day Foundational Coach Training offered by PACCP
• Active full-day participation in ongoing PACCP fall/winter/spring ongoing Coach Development trainings
• Active participation in two-to-three hour PACCP Coach PLC Cohorts, at least three times per year
• Completion, submission, and review of a Coach Certification Portfolio in the Coach Probationary Year One
• Provide three-to-six hours of one-to-one, onsite, on-the-job, face-to-face coaching for assigned PACCP candidates for a minimum of forty hours per year over eleven months each year (12 mo/yr. for candidates with contracts over 230 days)
• Develop and maintain familiarity with CTC credential requirements, PACCP program requirements, and the Elements and Indicators of the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSELs)
• Provide assigned PACCP candidates unscheduled phone, email, tech-supported access between scheduled coaching appointments
• Maintain strict confidentiality of work with PACCP candidates
• Maintain complete collaborative logs of coaching sessions employing approved PACCP forms
• Ensure that all PACCP candidate assessments are fully completed as required
• Ensure that all candidate and collaborative PACCP IIP, Design Templates, growth/progress reports and reflections are completed as required
• Ensure that the Candidate Portfolio for each assigned candidate is consistently maintained and up-to-date
• Consistently provide onsite coaching services that fully encompass all responsibilities of the candidate, with frequency of the practices listed below prioritized to support candidate goals. These practices include, but are not limited to:
- Confidential one-to-one conversations
- Coach-Candidate-Supervisor meetings, minimally twice per year
- Classroom observations of instruction and learning
- Observations of professional learning communities in action
- Observations of meetings, events, and trainings facilitated by the candidate
- Observations of candidate coaching, supervision, and formal evaluation processes
- Collaborative review of student learning data
- Respond to all PACCP surveys in a timely manner
- Actively participate in PACCP formative assessments of coaching practice
• Based on observations and evidence, recommending one's candidate for a Clear Administrative Services Credential
