For the Client:
It is up to me to decide if using placenta will be beneficial to me.
●I will notify the encapsulator as soon as I deliver in order to coordinate pick up.
●I agree to to have the placenta stored on ice, in a cooler or refrigerator within 3 hours after birth. I understand that if I fail to do this, the encapsulator is not responsible for the freshness of the placenta.
●I will notify my doctor or midwife of my wishes to take my placenta home. Failing to mention this may result in the placenta being disposed of quickly by healthcare staff.
●I understand that my placenta will be handled and processed by a trained and educated encapsulator. This is not approved by the FDA and I will be consuming this at my own risk. The encapsulator is not responsible for the condition of the placenta before she receives it.
●I do not knowingly carry any transferrable bloodborne pathogens and if I do, I will notify the encapsulator in advance.
●I will pay the balance to the encapsulator upon pick up or at the start of the process. I understand that she will not handle my placenta without full payment.
●If a suspected infection is present, I will notify the encapsulator. Failure to mention this can impact the safety of the capsules.
For the Specialist:
I do not promise or guarantee specific benefits. Benefits have been backed by anecdotal and evidence based research, they are not backed by the FDA.
●I am not a medical professional and will not diagnose or treat any health condition. I have been trained in the proper safe storing, handling and preparation of your placenta.
●Services and fees are for the preparation of the placenta and NOT for the sale of the pills or use of another's placenta.
●If in the unlikely event of an unforeseen circumstance, I have multiple colleagues that will be my backup.
●I guarantee that I handle your placenta with respect and care and that you are getting your placenta back in the form that you have requested.
●I will return your finished package within 48 hours, or at your earliest convenience after that time.
Fees, Deposits, Payments and Refunds
My fee for placenta encapsulation is $275
A non refundable retainer fee of $50 is due to hold your spot on my
calendar.
The balance is due upon the start of the process. If it is easier for you to pay in full in advance, that is fine as well. If your placenta is not released by the hospital, all of the money except for the $50 retainer will be returned. Retainers can be mailed (address provided upon request) or paid electronically (Venmo, Paypal, Square Cash, and Chase quickpay)
